Consulting Services

Directive consulting for purposes in describing DiversiCorp’s services include: turnaround, crisis management and business recovery consulting. Directive consulting (“Consulting”) differs from general management consulting and most coaching in several key areas:

* Consulting may involve a team – coaching usually does not. The Consultant and team is usually ceded a great deal of day-to-day authority by client – a coach does not take part in the direct management of a business.

* Consulting involves a formal engagement process that is driven by objective and deliverables. Coaching may be covered by a less structured mutual agreement. It has more flexibility and is geared to an individual as opposed to a company. The Business Sounding Board’s six process plan is a program with distinct phases of coaching but flexible enough to accompany changes as they occur.

* Consulting is more costly and generally most appropriate for companies with annual revenues at least $10 Million.

* Consulting is best for companies where the owner, principal or executive is not capable or interested in leading a conflict-intense process or has otherwise mismanaged the business to a point that further involvement is counter productive to the survival of the company.

* Consulting may not be viable for companies that have already failed or are liquidating while coaching may be useful to an individual owner, principal or executive in coping, recovering and moving forward toward new opportunities.
